Mango Smoothie

Serves approx. 3-4

Time to prepare approx. 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 mango
  • 2 oranges (pealed)
  • 1 passion fruit
  • a slice of ginger approx. 2 cm thick
  • 1/2 a cup of organic oats
  • 1 cup of homemade yogurt
  • 2-3 cups of almond milk
  • 1 tbsp. of turmeric (freshly grated or powder)
  • coconut sugar or honey to sweeten

MethodΒ 

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

NoteΒ 

This Smoothie is my go to when my immune system is in need of a boost.
Since I add organic oats, it keeps me satisfied until lunch time.

Good to know

Mangoes are high in energy, low in fat and are a great source of calcium and vitamins. They help to clear skin, lower cholesterol, improve digestion, boost the immunity system and prevent cancer.
