Green Power Smoothie

Serves 2 – 3

Time to prepare approx. 15 minutes

Ingredients

• 2 handfuls of spinach
• 1 kale leaf
• 1/2 of an avocado
• 2-3 pineapple slices
• 1 cup of green grapes
• 3 green apples (or 3-4 cups organic apple juice)
• a few mint leafs
• 1 slice of ginger approx. 2 cm thick
• 1 tsp hemp seeds (optional)
• 1 tsp turmeric (optional)

Method

1. If you are using fresh apples, juice them first in a juicer.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
3. Serve and enjoy!

Note 

This green power smoothie is my go to for (almost) every morning. Sometimes I will do an other smoothie as well, but this one is my favourite. It really gives me the energy I need to start my day. 

You can always add some other fruits if you would like to. Depending on what I have, I like to use pears, kiwis or bananas as well.
Make sure  that all the fruits are fresh.
